Marlow Richard A. Broders Chairman Vice -Chairman Member Chairman William S. Marlow called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of Vice -Chairman Richard A. Broders and Member James A. Tacoma, WA 98446 The Board carefully considered the testimony of both parties and conducted a physical inspection of the property. Based on sales of comparable properties it was determined that the current assessment reflects fair market value. Thus, the Board must uphold the valuation of the Assessor's office. Vice -Chairman Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of S535,515 ($152,450 for the land and $383,065 for the improvements). Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Based on the purchase price of this property and sales of comparable properties in the area, it is determined that the current assessment reflects fair market value. Thus, the Board is compelled to uphold the valuation of the Assessor's office. Vice -Chairman Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of $220,580 ($53,000 for the land and $167,580 for the improvements). Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
