Acudetox supports the treatment and recovery process by making the client stronger from the inside. What we are doing * Group acupuncture – An ear acupuncture therapy that has been used around the world for many decades, based on Chinese Medicine practices that are over 5,000 years old * Acupuncture helps bring you to a state of greater well being by regulating your nervous system and metabolism. It helps you sleep better and helps reduce pain, anxiety and depression. After the treatment you will feel more like yourself! * 5 small needles or ear seeds are inserted in each ear, or less if you prefer * Needles are sterile and disposed of after use * If you receive ear seeds, or if your child does, please rub them 3 – 5 times/day for 3-5 minutes, and take them out after 3 days. They may fall out in the shower, which is fine * An ear acupuncture treatment lasts for 30-40 minutes * You may feel a little pinch when needle goes in, or you may not…breathing deeply will help the overall treatment. It is a very safe treatment that helps regulate the body! * All practitioners are licensed or certified to do this treatment Why are we doing this? * Help with sleep, anxiety, stress, physical pain, emotional pain * This treatment will help you feel a greater sense of well-being How to prepare * Make sure you have eaten and had enough water * Turn off your cell phone * Complete the short Intake and sign the consent form * Go to the bathroom now if you need to, as you can’t get up with needles in your ears * Start to relax – you can feel free to close your eyes during treatment to get a deeper treatment experience How to follow up * Come back for more treatments if they are available! <https://recoverycafejc.us19.list-manage.com/track/click?u=878120a4a1fd6bb8179418fd1&id=0187e3837e&e=b73f8ca7c5> New!
