Back in 2018/19, there was some news about indigenous remains discovered at Memorial Field. There were then several articles in The Leader and PDN discussing a forthcoming archaeological
management plan for Memorial Field, contracted through Equinox Research and Consulting International, and due to the county on November 1, 2019.
I can see that a contract was executed with Equinox and the County back in April 2019 for about ~$115k, but I don’t see the finished plan anywhere. There’s no mention of the plan in
the 2022-2028 Parks Comprehensive Plan, either, unfortunately.
Can you shed some light on this (perhaps the contracted was not fulfilled?) or direct me to the department that would know? I’d like to see the plan.
