Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Et Con's: Jefferson County was allocated Federal funding through the Surface Transportation Block Grant. The proposed trail project runs from the south end of Larry Scott Trail to the northern boundary of Anderson Lake State Park. Construction funds will be obligated this year. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The grant amount is S1,519,332. Construction will be funded at 33% by this grant. The remaining construction funding is from WA State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) WA Wildlife and Recreation-Trails grant #20-1745. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board Chair sign the WSDOT Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus and return to Public Works.
