Description - A brief description of the agenda item. A Resolution establishing a new salary schedule for the FLSA Exempt management and professional positions in Jefferson County effective January 1, 2008. II. Issues - A short outline of the major issues or areas that should be given particular attention. A review of the salaries paid the FLSA exempt management and professional positions has been completed and it appears that adjustments are necessary for 2008 based on the salaries for like positions in the 7 counties used for comparison. A 3% increase has been applied to the salary matrix used for these positions. III. Action - What is the nature of the action the Board is being asked to take (discussion, approval of a contract, support for a grant, etc.). Approve the attached resolution and Attachment "A." IV. You may also want to express the department's position or recommendation. Suggested wording for the motion (a motion to approve/adopt/accept and a motion to deny/remand) would help especially if there are specific items or wording that needs to be covered in the motion. Recommendation is to approve this document ~ 4 - 1J2ul- John Fis bach, County Administrator 12-/5/07 Date
