Myself and neighbors are curious as to whether or not there is still a road maintenance department in Jefferson County. McClellan Creek road is in horrible shape. It hasn't been touched
in months. I've heard that the road department is on a four day work week. If so, that's ridiculous. Last winter if it snowed on Thursday we would likely not see a plow until Tuesday.
By then the snow is packed so hard that a plow won't remove it. All of our taxes have increased substantially and services have been badly curtailed. We don't receive other services
except the ability to haul our garbage to the dump site. At any rate, I invite you to take a ride up this road. You'll find I'm not exaggerating in the least. Thank you for anything
