MINUTES
Special Meeting December 28, 2007
Chairman Phil Johnson called the meeting to order in the presence of Commissioner John
Austin. Commissioner David Sullivan had an excused absence.
HEARING re: Supplemental Budget Appropriations/Extensions for Various Funds:
Central Services Director Allen Sartin reported that these two budget supplemental requests were received
after the 4th quarter supplemental was complete and they have been properly advertised. Chairman Johnson
asked ifthere is revenue to cover these requests? Donna Eldridge, Auditor, explained that there is
unencumbered cash in each of these funds to cover the amount ofthe requests.
Chairman Johnson opened the public testimony portion of the hearing. Hearing no comment for or against
the proposed budget supplement, the Chair closed the public hearing.
Commissioner Austin moved to approve RESOLUTION NO. 119-07 ordering the budget
appropriations/extensions as requested for the Animal Services and Chemical Dependency/Mental Health
Funds. Chairman Johnson seconded the motion. The vote on the motion carried.
