Marine Resource Committee.Your term will expire on September 9,2026.

Washington State has mandated Open Public Meetings Act and Open Public Records Act training for government staff
and officials.Newly elected or reappointed members of Jefferson County Advisory Boards and Commissions are also
required to take this training.Please use this link to access the MANDATORY training: 1

Once you have completed each training, please print and sign a certificate.The County will need a copy of your

You have 90 days from your reappointment date to complete this training. You must complete the training every 4
years. If you serve on more than one advisory board you only need to complete the training once and provide one copy

SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: North Pacific Coast Marine
Resource Committee; Expired Term on August 8, 2024; Jill Silver
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The North Pacific Coast Marine Resource Committee (NPCMRC)had one position which expired on
August 8, 2024 for Conservation Environmental Groups (Citizen Representative). An ad was placed in the
paper to fill this position.
ANALYSIS:
Board member, Jill Silver, has submitted her request to continue to serve on the North Pacific Coast Marine
Resource Committee.
RECOMMENDATION
NPCMRC members and County staff recommend that the Board approve the following:
Jill Silver- Two (2) Year Term expiring September 9. 2026
