SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT (1) re: Local Emergency Planning
Committee (LEPC); Representing the Port Townsend Paper Company—

STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
In July,2024, an application was received for the open position on the Local Emergency Planning Committee
(LEPC) in response to advertising efforts. Shannon Daugherty applied for the two (2)year term.
ANALYSIS:
It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioner's approve the following advisory board
appointment:
Shannon Daugherty—Representing the Port Townsend Paper Company beginning on September 16,
2024. Serving a two (2)year term to expire on September 16, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the letter for the appointment to the Local Emergency Planning Committee:
Shannon Daugherty—Representing the Port Townsend Paper Company
