One of our biggest staffing challenges is around finding local (ish) fabulous humans that are interested in joining our very part time, weekend staff team. We are hoping that you would be able to share these details out with your network. It takes a village 😊 THANK YOU!!!! I am so grateful for you all! – Raina Camp Beausite Northwest is currently recruiting for weekend staff. We are looking for caregivers, para-educators, teachers, high school students, outdoor education staff, college students, CNA’s, and local awesome humans to join our team. No experience necessary. Our dream is to build up a group of mighty wonderful local humans that would be willing to work a few weekends a year (or more) to support our incredible campers at camp while providing respite for their families and caregivers. We typically offer 3-5 weekend programs in the fall and 3-5 weekend programs in the spring. Most of our campers are independent and can take care of themselves. We often have a couple who might need a little more help with daily care (this can range from helping set up for a shower, helping to brush teeth, or possibly help using the restroom). We try to accept everyone that we can, however we do not have the facility to support those campers with high medical needs nor are we able to support those campers who require intensive behavior management. A weekend at camp is so much fun! We serve delicious meals for all different diet types and have a bunch of super fun activities! Get paid or volunteer to spend the weekend supporting campers, doing arts and crafts, archery, bingo, talent shows, campfires, and everything in between.
