MINUTES
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
Regular Meeting — Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
Commissioners Chambers, Jefferson County Courthouse
1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 (Hybrid)
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Margaret Taylor called the meeting to order in the presence of Board of
Equalization(BOE) Vice Chair Pete Raab, Member Joe Langjahr and Member Joni Blanchard.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Chair Taylor called for public comments, and none were received.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Member Raab moved to approve the December 11, 12 and 13, 2023
BOE minutes as presented. Member Langjahr seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote.
HEARINGS: Before each individual hearing, Chair Taylor placed the appellants(if present)and
appraiser staff under oath. The Board conducted a hearing for the following appeals:
9:35 a.m. to 10:17 a.m.
