Note: Chambers, BOCC Smith moved to deny the request to reconvene. Krist seconded the
motion. carried unanimously

Note: Chambers, BOCC Assessor Jeff Chapman discussed the assessment rolls. New
construction is not included in the real property amount. Krist moved
to accept certificate. Smith seconded the motion. carried
unanimously

Note: Chambers, BOCC Assessor Jeff Chapman provided an annual update to the Board.5
areas are assessed statistically and one area is physcially inspected.
Physical inspections in 2016 will be Port Ludlow. Overall land values
will decrease and improvement values will increase. He estimates
that 2016 values will increase in the City. He discussed the history of
assessments of all 6 areas of Jefferson County. He informed the
Board that the $10,000 site improvement value for utilities will be
increased. Different areas will have different site improvement
values ranging from $15,000-$20,000.
