IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Prospect Avenue, County Road No. 680609, from M.P.
0.00 to M.P. 0.07 , be improved as follows:
Construction of a right turn lane from Prospect Avenue onto SR 19 for the purposes of providing
traffic congestion relief and to reduce traffic turning movement conflicts. This proiect will
provide preliminary engineering. right of way. construction engineering. and actual construction.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and
based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purpose shown:

and W.A.C. 136.18.

Statement of Issue:
The issue is requesting adoption of the Resolution creating County project CR1743.
Analysis/State~ic Goals/Pros 8: Cons:
This project is item number 4 on the 2007-2012 Six Year Transportation Improvement
program and on the Annual Construction program. The purpose of this project is to
provide traffic congestion relief and to reduce traffic turning movement conflicts, by
constructing a right turn lane from Prospect Ave. onto state highway SR19. This project
will provide preliminary engineering, right of way, construction engineering, and the
actual construction.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
The estimated total cost of this project is $150,000. This project was included in the
adopted 2007 roads budget.
Recommendation:
The attached Resolution is recommended for your adoption. This action is
recommended, as it will allow for design and construction of this project.
The Board is asked to sign the original Resolution where indicated, and return one signed
copy to Public Works (attn. John Wayand).
