Board of Equalization Chair Margaret Taylor provided us with a corrected Order, which is attached. I also sent one to the State Board for their records. Assessor's Argument and Evidence:The Assessor's Representative presented six comparable properties showing the market value of similar properties in the subject county. The Assessor explained the methodology used to assess the value of properties in the Cape George and surrounding area. Decision:After consideration the Board finds the Appellant did not present the clear, cogent and convincing evidence necessary to overcome the presumptive correctness of the value established by the Assessor. The Board of Equalization sustains the value established by the Assessor.
