IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING }
THE DATE FOR 2008 BUDGET }
SUBMISSIONS, REVIEW HEARINGS }
AND FINAL ADOPTION }
RESOLUTION NO. 40-07
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.070, the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners shall meet the first week in October to hold budget hearings for the purpose of
adoption of the Jefferson County Budget for 2008; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.010, the Jefferson County Auditor shall
notifY in writing each elected or appointed County official to file with her on or before the 2nd
Monday of August 2007, an estimated budget for the ensuing year, for submission to the County
Administrator on or before the 1 st Tuesday in September, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, that the 2008 budget reviews shall be
held with the Department Heads and Elected Officials as necessary during the month of
September and that during the first week in October (October 1-5) budget hearings shall be held
and upon conclusion of said hearings, the Jefferson County Budget for 2008 shall be adopted.
