Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 MEMO TO: Kelli Larson, Jefferson County Public Works Department DATE: May 15,2007 FROM: She"ie Shord, Jefferson County Assessor's Office RE: Road name changes Message: Kelli, The Assessor's Office h~s comments concerning the road name changes recently sent to our office for review. 1). The possible street name change of Eisenbeis Avenue we have no concerns with any of the choices. 2). The possible street name change of Charles Avenue we have concerns with the 1st and 3rd choices. The County's addressing system already has several "Rose" type street names, Cottage Place would be the preferred choice. 3). The possible street name change of Sophia Street we have concerns with the 1st choice. The County's addressing system has a Jupiter Loop. Although Jupiter Loop is in Brinnon, we believe there may be a potential for confusion. (360) 385-9105 FAX (360) 385-9197 web site: www.co.jefferson.wa.us c .Cw 3.l,A:).
