RESOLUTION NO. 01-08
WHEREAS, one-half(~) of the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's
salary is paid by the State of Washington in accordance with R.C.W. 36.17.020; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Treasurer requires documentation of the
salary established as a basis for payment of the State's share of the Jefferson County
Prosecuting Attorney's salary.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the salary for the Jefferson
County Prosecuting Attorney for the calendar year 2008 is ninety-eight thousand, three
hundred and fourteen and 68/100 dollars ($98,314.68), effective January 1,2008.
APPROVED AND SIGNED this 7th day of January, 2008.

STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
According to the RCWs, the State Treasurer requires documentation for payment ofthe State's share of the
Prosecutor's salary.
ANALYSIS:
A resolution establishing the Prosecutor's salary is approved annually.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Prosecutor's Salary per the 2008 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Board approve the resolution establishing the Prosecuting Attorney's salary for 2008.
