IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Larry Scott Memorial Trail. County Log No. 86010, from Trail
Milepost 4.6 to Trail Milepost 5.0, be improved as follows:
Clearing, grading, placing base, surfacing with crushed gravel, signing, and other work.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purpose shown:

Resolution for Larry Scott Memorial Trail MP 4,6 to MP 5.0
County Project # CR10696
Statement of Issue:
The issue is requesting adoption of the required Resolution creating County Project
CR10696,
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pros & Cons:
This project is item number 15 on the 2008-2013 Six Year Transportation Improvement
program and will be added via this Resolution to the 2008 Annual Construction program.
The purpose of this project is to provide for clearing, grading, surfacing and other
improvements to the section of Larry Scott Trail from Trail Milepost 4.6 to Milepost 5.0,
This project will provide preliminary engineering, construction engineering, and the actual
construction. Right of way was acquired previously for this project.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
The estimated total cost of this projectis $122,616. This project is being brought forward
at this time due to the availability of "turnback" grant funds provided through the
Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) which will fund 50% of project costs to match
local funds.
Recommendation:
The Board is asked to sign the original Resolution where indicated, and return one signed
copy to Public Works (attn, Valerie Greene), so that the resolution can be published and
the project completed.
