COUNTY PROPERTY )
RESOLUTION NO. 41-08

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the County Commissioners of Jefferson County to dispose
of surplus property; and
WHEREAS, the various departments have indicated a need to dispose of those items on
the list of surplus equipment attached to this resolution, for public auction to be held by sealed
bid due July 3, 2008 and
WHEREAS, the requirement ofRCW 36.34.020 that an intention to declare surplus be
published with a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the disposal of any County property has
been met and the public hearing held on June 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m,; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners heard no objection to the declaration of these items as
surplus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of Jefferson County
that they make a finding and determination as required by RCW 36.34.050 to declare the
particularly described property as surplus and allow the Treasurer to proceed with the disposition
of said surplus items. Bid form, list of items and viewing times available through Treasurer's
office or website,

SEALED BIDS for the sale of a surplus equipment, will be received by the Treasurer of Jefferson
County, Washington, County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., P.O. Box 571, Port Townsend, Washington,
98365, until the hour of 4:15 o'clock p.m., the 3rd day of July 2008, at which time all bids received will be
publicly opened and read at 4: 15 o'clock p.m. in the office of the Treasurer.

BIDDER'S DECLARATION AND UNDERSTANDING
This certifies that the undersigned has examined the surplus county-owned equipment. The equipment must be
removed by Friday, July 18' 2008
BID REQUIREMENTS
Bid must be submitted on this bid proposal form. Bidder is aware that the bid will be awarded to the highest bidder.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any infirmities in the bids.
BID DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT
Attached hereto is a certified check, cashier's check or cash in the sum of dollars
($ ), payable to the Treasurer of Jefferson County, Washington, this amount being not
less than ten (10%) of the total amount of bid. The successful bidder shall pay the balance within five (5) calendar
days from notice of award of bid.
