Port Townsend has lost local access to Duckworks Boat Building Supplies. Even if they are more of an online retailer, lots of us could walk in and get things we needed for our personal
boats and our maritime businesses and if the big reason was that Port Townsend is too expensive, that is bad for business and bad for Port Townsend. Who will be next?
Duckworks was originally family owned and the Port Townsend owners invested in this town in more ways than retail. They were a creative force collaborating with other maritime businesses
and we will miss having them here.
