Night roadwork planned in Port Angeles Oct. 14
PORT ANGELES – Travelers who use Marine Drive in Port Angeles should take note of upcoming nighttime detours and lane closures. Work is scheduled in two separate locations.
8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15
* Eastbound Marine Drive will close between West 2nd Street and South Valley Street.
* A signed detour will be provided.
* Marine Drive/West Front Street single-lane closures between North Oak Street and South Valley Street.
10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15
* One-way alternating traffic at the intersection of Marine Drive and Tumwater Truck Route (State Route 117).
* No access from Marine Drive to Tumwater Truck Route.
* A signed detour will be provided.
During this time, the contractor will place permanent roadway markings. The work follows recent roadway paving.
The nighttime roadwork could be rescheduled due to weather.
