Dear Heidi,
I want to let you know about a wonderful service that Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST) provides for employers. It's our Stress, Trauma, and Resilience Training, and it
has been making a huge impact helping people leaders be able to successfully supervise survivors of human trafficking as they are transitioning to the workplace. In the last year, we
have trained 186 people leaders to be better trauma informed managers.
This training is vital because it teaches people leaders how to support and empower survivors of human trafficking who have been through difficult situations, and it encourages managers
to help survivors adjust to the workforce. This helps create a more supportive, understanding, and safe work environment for all employees, but especially people who have experienced
trauma.
As a donor, your support is needed to help continue to provide this training to make a real difference in the lives of survivors of human trafficking. Your contribution can help train
more people leaders and provide the resources they need to effectively support survivors of human trafficking as they enter a new workplace.
