S'Klallam after I have had a chance to sign it.

I'm sorry that I also dropped the ball this year. I've been dealing with a slew of other attention-sucks and it didn't even cross my mind. Unfortunately, I don't think we can walk a
proclamation on our meeting on Monday because it isn't a standard business meeting. Would it be appropriate to do a proclamation at next Monday's (the 21st) council meeting? I would
be happy to fast-track that and coordinate with you whatever you think appropriate.

I am sorry to say that I dropped the ball on this. When I realized late last week that Indigenous Peoples’ Day was upon us, I didn’t have the time to properly invite the tribes in the
county.
If you or others were interested in joining us for a proclamation in Monday morning, we would love to have you. I could send out an email to the other tribes with an apology for the
late notice.
Or if the city is doing something Monday evening and you plan to attend, perhaps I could join and provide comment on the County’s appreciation of the tribes and desire to continue working
together? I’ll let Mayor Faber weigh in on this, as well.
My apologies for missing this. My wonderful staff usually give me some notice but it slipped between the cracks this year.
