Objectives of the 2024 survey including filling gaps in local housing data and informing decisions around the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Updates <https://www.commerce.wa.gov/growth-management/gma-topics/periodic-update/> for both Jefferson County (www.co.jefferson.wa.us/1708/2025-Periodic-Update <http://www.co.jefferso n.wa.us/1708/2025-Periodic-Update> ) and the City of Port Townsend (www.pt2045planning.org <http://www.pt2045planning.org/> ) . HSN also: * Offers an “Affordable Housing 101 <https://housingsolutionsnetwork.org/affordablehousing101/> ” primer with a focus on Port Townsend and Jefferson County; * Shares a “Governmental Planning and Policy <https://housingsolutionsnetwork.org/policy/> ” portal with useful info and links; * manages a “Housing Link <https://housingsolutionsnetwork.org/housinglink/> ” function that connects home seekers with home providers; * puts out a periodic newsletter, which anyone can sign up to receive (at the bottom of their homepage <https://housingsolutionsnetwork.org/> ); * published a position on short-term rental regulations <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZfKkq5wdbLZ7p6XwOPNsH3jMGl28KQww/view> in Jefferson County; * and is hosting a “Happy Hour” at the Pourhouse on 11/6, 4-6p, for people interested in learning more about and getting involved in local housing issues.
