In the Matter of appointing the Central Services}
Director to determine the rates for the }
Equipment Rental & Revolving Fund }
RESOLUTION NO. 67-07
WHEREAS, in resolution 20-01 the Board of County commissioners did direct the
County Administrator to form the Central Services Department which would include the
Information Services Division, the Facilities Division, Capital Facilities Projects, and
Equipment Rental & Revolving Division; and
WHEREAS, HB 1005, which was passed by the State Legislature and signed by the
Governor in 2007, enables the Board of county Commissioners to appoint someone other
than the County Engineer to determine the rates for the Equipment Rental & Revolving
Division; and,
WHEREAS, the Central Services Director currently manages the Equipment Rental
& Revolving Division; and,
WHEREAS, the County Administrator desires to have the Central Service Director
be responsible for determining the rates,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that, effective July 23, 2007, the Board of
Commissioners hereby directs the Central Services Director be the position responsible to
determine the rates for the Equipment Rental & Revolving Division.

STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The State Legislature made a change to the Statutes authorizing the Equipment
Rental and Revolving Fund which permits the Board of County Commissioners to
designate someone other than the County Engineer to set the rental rates for
equipment.
