HomeMy WebLinkAbout103 07 .. <..... 4__," JII, . ct '- P,,-,~'S9)" \'d'cO 1\\Cf.-7)Ol 'A~ OCD ST ATE OF WASHINGTON Jefferson County In the Matter of: Assessor's Plat Beckett Point Fishermen's Club } } RESOLUTION NO. l03~07 WHEREAS, Beckett Point Fishermen's Club was incorporated July 1,1939; and WHEREAS, the subject property encompasses approximately 85 acres; and WHEREAS, the current Comprehensive Plan Designation is Rural Residential I :20; and WHEREAS, an unrecorded survey originally drawn in 1951 and approved by the Beckett Point Fishermen's Club Board of Trustees in 1958 shows divisions and leased lots; and WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Assessor's Office recognizes divisions and lots for the purpose of valuing real property improvements and levying assessments upon individual lease lots with the Beckett Point Fishermen's Club, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the proposed Assessor's Plat is needed to clarify the legal status of the Beckett Point development; and WHEREAS, Chapter 58.18 Revised Code of Washington establishes criteria for the filing of an Assessor's Plat for the purpose of maintaining the public record in the instances; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners that they hereby grant the Jefferson County Assessor permission to establish an Assessor's Plat, pursuant to Chapter 58.18 revised Code of Washington, for the purpose of clarifying the legal status of the Beckett Point Fishermen's Club development. - ,,\ T '1 CO v SEAL::. \',.. ;('. ).,. Over the years various county departments including the Assessor's office, Environmental Health and the Department of Community Development have recognized the divisions and individual lots within the Beckett Point Fishermen's Club. The Comprehensive Plan designation for the two parcels is Rural Residential 1 :20, ANAL YSIS/STRATEGIC GOALS: The Assessor's plat will clarify the legal status of the Beckett Point development. The lots are served by the PUD for water. The Beckett Point Fishermen's Club is completing a LOSS (Large On Site Septic System). The parcels have access off of Beckett Point Road. Approval by the BoCC will serve the public use and interest and provide adequate provision for maintaining the public health, safety, and general welfare. FISCAL IMPACT: There are no identifiable fiscal impacts related to this request. RECOMMENDATION: DCD Staff recommends BoCC approval of the resolution. REVIEWED BY: John Fisch Date ul :Lllo; ,
