Cascara Drive
WHEREAS, on September 11, 2006 the Jefferson County Board of County
Commissioners approved Resolution No, 55-06 naming a private road Cascara Drive; and
WHEREAS, the original resolution indicated in error that the private road would be named
both Cascara Drive and Cascara Lane; and
WHEREAS, this resolution clarifies that the private road be named Cascara Drive;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be named Cascara Drive,

Clarification of Resolution #55-06
Naming a private road Cascara Drive
Statement of Issue: Clarification of Resolution #55-06 naming a private road Cascara
Drive.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's & Con's: The original resolution adopted November
11, 2006 indicates the private road should be named both 'Cascara Drive' and
'Cascara Lane'. The intent of the original resolution was to name the road Cascara
Drive. However, in error, the resolution shows 'Lane' in several places that should
have been 'Drive'.
Naming the road Cascara Drive was originally supported by Jeff Com and Fire District
#2 as well as the residents of the private road.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: None
Recommendation: The Department of Public Works recommends that the Board of
County Commissioners clarify the private road name as Cascara Drive by signing the
attached Resolution.
