In the Matter of Awarding the Bid for the }
Sale of Surplus Computer Equipment }
RESOLUTION NO. 116-07
WHEREAS, certain computer equipment and peripherals belonging to Jefferson County
have been identified by the Central Services Department as no longer required for County
purposes because they are broken, worn out, obsolete, or outdated; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on December 3rd,
2007 wherein they declared such computer to be surplus and directed the Central Services
Director to sell such equipment by sealed bid process; and,
WHEREAS, the Central Services Department did advertise the sale of said computer
equipment and peripherals in the PT Leader on December 5th, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners was informed at the public meeting of
December 17th, 2007 that no bids had been received:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners directs the
Central Services Departmentto proceed with disposal as stipulated in resolution 108-07.
