Special Meeting — October 28, 2024, 5:00 p.m.
Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
DISCUSSION re: Draft Jefferson County Sewer Utility Code
This is a Hybrid meeting: Virtual and In-Person Attendance at
Jefferson County Library
620 Cedar Avenue, Port Hadlock, WA 98339
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Kate Dean, Commissioner Greg Brotherton and Commissioner Heidi
Eisenhour participated in the meeting. Chair Dean called the meeting to order at the appointed time.
PRESENTATION re: Review the Draft Jefferson County Sewer Utility Code Ordinance, and Fee
Schedule Resolution: Public Works Wastewater Project Manager Samantha Harper provided a
presentation on the topic. Public Works Director Monte Reinders joined the meeting shortly after it was
called to order, and also provided information throughout the presentation.
The public was provided opportunities throughout each segment of the presentation to voice their
comments or questions, which were answered by staff
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: After the presentation, Chair Dean called for additional public
comments, and no comments were received.
CLOSING REMARKS/NEXT STEPS: Project Manager Samantha announced that she is planning to
hold a public hearing on November 18, 2024.
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Chair Dean adjourned the meeting at 6:54 p.m. until
the next regular meeting or special meeting as properly noticed.
