UPDATE: Please note, one-way traffic directed by flaggers and stops of up to 15 minutes are now scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 7. The change is reflected in the release below.

Plan for daytime work on US 101 in Blyn Nov. 4-7
BLYN – Daytime travelers who use US 101 near Blyn in Clallam County will want to plan extra travel time the week of Nov. 4.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day Monday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Nov. 7, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews cut back brush and low hanging tree limbs away
from the roadway.
Monday, Nov. 4
* Large brush mowers will work in both directions on US 101 between Dean Creek and Zaccardo Road.
* Travelers can expect intermittent slowdowns and congestion approaching the work zone.
Tuesday, Nov. 5
* Crews will remove low hanging tree limbs from the road.
* Flaggers will direct one-way traffic on US 101 at Jimmycomelately Creek.
* Travelers can expect stops of up to 15 minutes in each direction.
Wednesday, Nov. 6
* Crews will cut brush along the shoulder of US 101 between Dean Creek and Zaccardo Road.
* Travelers may see slowdowns approaching the work zone.
Thursday, Nov. 7
* Crews will remove trees of concern along the road.
* Flaggers will direct one-way traffic on US 101 at Jimmycomelately Creek.
* Travelers can expect stops of up to 15 minutes in each direction.
Whenever near work zones please:
* Slow down – drive the posted speeds, they're there for everyone’s safety.
* Be kind – Workers are out there helping to keep everyone safe and improve the roadways.
* Pay attention – both to workers directing traffic and to fellow travelers.
* Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible.
