HomeMy WebLinkAbout100724 FW_ Lodging Tax grantsHI Adiel, Would you be able to include this in the LTAC packet for next week? I don’t want to lose track of it (and won’t be around long enough to see it through). Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Hello Commissioner Dean, My name is Lorrie Mittmann, and I put on endurance races primarily in Clallam County but I have one gravel bike race in Jefferson County, which is mid-June in the town of Quilcene. As a for-profit company, I am allowed in Clallam County, City of Sequim, and City of Port Angeles to apply for Event grants from LTAC, but not in Jefferson County. For-profit events bring in as many heads-in-beds as non-profit events, but still need support from grants and sponsorships to make the events happen. Do you think the Jefferson LTAC might consider changing their policy and allow for-profit events to apply? It is allowed in the RCW so it is not a problem in that regard.
