Please see the attached letter regarding the ongoing Northwest Forest Plan amendment. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the plan amendment will be available for public review
starting November 15, 2024 on our project website: https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=64745. We invite you to review the document and share your feedback during the 120-day public
comment period, and to encourage your constituents to do the same.
You may also review the NWFP public website (www.fs.usda.gov/goto/r6/nwfp <http://www.fs.usda.gov/goto/r6/nwfp> ) for general information on this effort as well as updates on this project
and engagement opportunities.
I also want to highlight that there will be a briefing for County Commissioners with the Northwest Forest Plan amendment team and Regional Forester’s team on November 19 from 1-2:30
