The legislative session is coming up fast with many chances to support conservation and recreation in our state.
Join us for Parks and Great Outdoors Day on February 11th, 2025, hosted via Zoom with the Washington Recreation and Parks Association.
It’s a chance for everyone, even new advocates, to talk with legislators about the importance of the outdoors.
We’re asking for $150 million for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) to protect working lands, wildlife habitat, and create more outdoor recreation opportunities.
This would provide funding for 115+ projects in the State -- amongst those, 34 local parks, 8 trails, and 5 water access projects.
