To whom it may concern,
This email is in regard to our application for the transfer of our property to an Open Space designation, labeled as CUA2024-00001 on our Public Benefit Rating Worksheet.
We have had a chance to review the PBRS findings and agree with all points awarded, however, we hope to be awarded another point under the County Policy Goals - "Enhances the value to
the public of abutting or neighboring nature reservation, sanctuaries, or other open spaces".
The acreage placed in perpetual conservation is part of a landscape scale effort to protect and restore valuable watersheds in our area, such as Tarboo Creek. The easement is also nestled
between several thousand acres of other protected lands and therefore serves as part of the greater public benefit.
