This inspection found that the outlet baffle on the septic tank has deteriorated. It is recommended that you have this repaired immediately; allowing solids to reach the drainfield may lead to premature failure. The purpose of proper maintenance is so the County, for the benefit and protection of the public's health, is assured by this department that these systems are designed, installed and maintained in a proper manner. Please contact a licensed designer to have the system repaired. A copy of the as - built and a list of designers that have submitted work to Jefferson County have been included with this letter.
