Biggs stated in his letter that funding for the praject can be secured in several ways. Ed Davis, Owner of Black 4, appeared re: Raad Survey in Imndale. Mr. Davis has recently learned the past survey of the plat is in errar and needs ta be re-surveyed by a qualified licensed engineer. Inbrmatian taken under advisement at this time. Bob Hansen, Sheriff, appeared regarding app:lintment af Traffic Safety Ca-ardinat:lr. Hansen recammended that Albert P. Th:lmas, fram the Jeffers:ln County's Sheriffs Department be app::>inteu as success:>r to serve as Traffic Safety C:l-:lrdinatar for the County, t:l replace Mr. Walter Kelly. Board appraved appaintment af Mr. Th:lmas. Sheriff Hansen's Department has been receiving c:lmplaints an the dumping :If garbage, in unautharized areas, and feels the :lrdinance shauld be reviewed. The Baard will check on the ordinance. Hansen alsa requested permissian t:J attend a I-week leatning institute, sp:lnsered by LEAA, vot 2 rAf,~ o 1.69 .- 2 ,- .~ -- . . with all expenses reimbursab.1e ,with the exception af a $50.00 registration fee. Motian by Cammissi:lner Mercer, and seconded by Commissianer O'Meara to grant permLJ sian for Hansen to attend, and appraved $50.00 payment of registratian fee. Unanimaus. Rod Dawnan, DNR, appeared re: County's Involvement in Farest Practices Acts. Mr. Downan introduced Mr. Gene Neilson who will be replacing him due to retirement. Mr. Downan reviewed the following points with the Board. (1) A ane step EIS.. (2) Statement c0vering rules & regulations. (3) Classification of different water types. (4) Four different classes af applications and (5) The shoreline acts. The minutes af February 9th meeting approved by motion of Cammissianer Mercer, seconded by Commissioner O'Meara. Unanimous. Engineer Becker submitted the follawing Affidavit of ! 975 Day Labor Expenditures. Moved by Commissianer O'Meara, secanded by Commissianer Mercer for becker ta praceed with publicatian af the County Road Projects completed in 1975. Unanimous. Motian by Commissioner 0' Meara, seconded by Cammissioner Mercer I ta appoint John Parker as member of the Hoad Canal Advisory Commission. Unanimaus. Matian by Cammissianer O'Meara, seconded by Commissianer Mercer to approve and sign Cantract No. 1002-GGG-6209, Mental Health/Drug Abuse Program fram DSHS. Unanimous. Copy of application from the State LiquDr Board for license transfer for Trails End Tavern, Incarporated, approved and signed by motion of C:lmmissianer Mercer, and seconded by Commissianer O'Meara.
