9:00 a.m. - Meeting was called to order by Chairman B.G. Brown with ~.t<t"'/....I
Commissioner Mercer present, Commissioner O'Meara was
to attend another meeting.
Bill Flack and Roger Farrar representatives of the Arthur Young Company,
presented data concerning" Data Processing Planning" Re: The County's
needs relating to Computer Systems. The gentlemen discussed the program
with the Board, mentioning that it had been very successful in numerous
County's. The Company is interested in taking a survey of Jefferson
County's Computer System needs. The survey takes an estimated 20-30 man
days (6 applications) at a cost of $12,000.00 maximum. The less time,
the less money. The Board feels that since Data Processing is not needed
until the last of Mayor the first of June they would delay their decision.
A deadline was set for May 15, 1976.
Minutes for March 22, 1976 were unanimously approved by motion of
Commissioner Mercer second by Chairman Brown.
Final Plat of "Seamount Estates J):Lvis:Lon 4" - Approval was declined
because of roads not meeting Engineers requirements.
The Board approved the new building permit application form for use by
the Health, Planning and Building Departments.
Bid Opening: 1:30 p.m. Tri - Cities Community Center.

The board discussed the below alternates, submitted by Melco Construction
Sequim, who appeared to be the low bidder. Alternates Al; A4; AS; & A6;
were approved with the condition that bid totals are correct as presented.
Alternates A2; and A3; were not. Moved by Commissioner Mercer, second by
Chairman Brown for Archetect David Johnston to check totals of the three
low bidders for possible error.
AIY Change to hardwood floor - 3 rooms.
A2) Galvanized instead of Stainless Steel sinks.
A3) Plastic laminated counter top & cupboard.
A4) Septic Tank revision.
AS) Interior painting withheld.
A6) Change roofing to shakes.
with no further business the meeting was adjourned.
