7:30 p.m. - Meeting reconvened at this time with all members present.
Board met with members of the City Council, and School District for the
purpose of discussing funding for refurbishing the recrea,tion center.
Planning Director Cunningham informed that an Architect will be required
to lay-out the plans and his fee's will be approximately $3,000.00.
Cunningham suggested that the City and the County go in half($l,SOO.OO)
each to get the project underway. Cunningham further informed that
E.D.A. funding is what is- being proposed. 'Mayor Joe Steve informed
that he would discuss the matter with the City Council at their next
meeting. It was moved by Commissioner O'Meara, second by CommiSSioner
lViercer for the county to pay 50% of the funding.
There being no further business before the Board, meeting .was adjourned.
