10:00 a.m. Meeting called to order by Chairman Mercer with all members
present.
Herb Kuzniczci re: Olympic Health District. Mr. Kuzniczci appeared
to discuss personnel options to be presented at the next reorganization
meeting.
Resolution No. 80-77 re: Cancellation of Unclaimed Warrants. Motion
by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to approve and sign
the above resolution pursuant to RCW 36.22.100 to cancel unclaimed warrants
from Current Expense. Unanimous.
Motion by Commissioner O'Meara, seconded by Chairman Mercer during
a brief absence of Commissioner Brown to approve the minutes of November
7, 14 and 21, 1977.
Motion by commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner O'Meara to sign
a letter to John Mey re: Barge at Discovery Bay. The barge was to be
removed from Discovery Bay by July of 1977 and placed at a site south of
Chimacum Creek. The barge is still at Discovery Bay.
The Board interviewed applicants for two Solid Waste jobs during
the afternoon.
The Board recessed until Tuesday morning to meet with the Department
of Navy re: Current and Projected Employment, and then reconvened Tuesday
afternoon to continue interviewing applicants for two Solid Waste jobs.
The Board selected Fran Hansen and Linda Nutsford to attend NCR
COBOL 74 School which is a beginners computer programming school. The
classes will be for two weeks in January in Los Angeles. Chairman Mercer
and Commissioner O'Meara approved by formal motion. Commissioner Brown
obstained.
The Board recessed to Wednesday afternoon to continue interviewing
job applicants.
The Board reconvened on Wednesday November 30 at 2:00 p.m. and
continued interviewing job applicants. There was no further business that
day.
