SUBJECT: MOTION TO AFFIRM re: 2025 Affordable Housing and Homeless
Housing Recommendations from the Housing Fund Board (HFB)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: On November 8, 2024, the HFB members met to review RFPs received for
2025 Affordable and Homeless Housing projects in Jefferson County. There is $165,000 available for
5386 Homeless Housing and Assistance (operating) funds; $840,000 for 1590 Affordable Housing and
Supporting Housing development funds and first year operating funds; and $560,000 for 1590 Affordable
and Supportive Housing operating funds. 1590 operating funds may be used for all housing-related
services.
ANALYSIS: The HFB members discussed which funds could be allocated for the proposed projects. After
discussion, the Board passed motions to recommend funding the following projects:
