In the Matter of a Lease Purchase Agreement
for the Purpose of Procuring a
"Law Enforcement Software System"

RESOLUTION NO. 88-08
WHEREAS, Jefferson County desires to enter into that certain Lease-Purchase Agreement Number
5093, by and between Government Capital Corporation and Jefferson County, for the purpose of
procuring a "Law Enforcement Software System; and
WHEREAS, to designate this Agreement as a "qualified tax exempt obligation" of the County for
the purposes of Section 265 (b) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended; and
WHEREAS, to designate Phil Johnson, Chairman, Board of County Commissioners, as an
authorized signer of the Agreement; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by Jefferson County that the County enters into a lease
purchase Agreement with Government Capital Corporation for the purpose of procuring a "Law
Enforcement Software System"; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lease Purchase Agreement Number 5093, by and between
the County and Government Capital Corporation is designated by the County as a "qualified tax exempt
obligation" for the purpose of section 265 (b) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOL VED, that the Jefferson County Commissioners designate Phil Johnson,
Chainnan, Board of County Commissioners, as an authorized signer of the Lease Purchase Agreement
Number 5093, by and between the Jefferson County and Government Capital Corporation.
