Scott Real Estate 2219 West Simms Way Port Townsend, W A 98368 Re: Addendum Geology Hazard Assessment Parcel 501025008 Lot 8, Hazel Point Large Lot Subdivision Government Lot 1, Section 2, Township 25 N, Range 1 W Jefferson County, Washington Dear Mr. McHugh: This l~tter js an addendum to my May 28, 2002 Emgineering Geology Reconriaissance Weare pleased to present the results of our engineering geology reconnaissance of the above referenced , property. Conditions on the site are essentially the same as at the time ofthe original report. That U, *, report and my most recent visit to the property conclude that there are no landslide or erosign ?L' -hazards on the prope!1Y. Slopes on the subiect property are stable and shoreline erosion is not an . issue at this site as the shoreline at this location is at present tim~ and in the long term future (100 , years) is an accretionary shoreline. The Jefferson County landslide hazard map indicates there is an area of potential low risk and there is an area of potential moderate risk for landslides on the property. Based on my site investigation and described in the May 28, 2002, it is my opinion that there is no landslide hazard risk on the subject property. Storm water on the site should be fully dispersed/infiltrated into the ground in dispersion /infiltration trenches. Soil on the site consists primarily of sand and gravel with minor silty areas and should allow for infiltration of stormwater as long as the water is introduced in a dispersed manner.
