Menu WEDNESDAY, 11/20: Tamale Pie (Gluten-free. Beef and Vegetarian available.) Coleslaw (Vegan version available.) Soft Rolls/Gluten-free bread. THURSDAY, 11/21: Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon (Vegan meal available.) Green Salad Carrots and Onions FRIDAY, 11/22: Haddock and Spinach Gratin Green Salad Baguette/Gluten-free bread. TUESDAY, 11/26: Chili Dogs (Plant-based “dogs” available, and vegan chili.) Warm Potato Salad Coleslaw (Vegan version available.) WEDNESDAY, 11/27: *Gratitude Feast* Roast Turkey Stuffing Roasted Squash Mashed Potatoes Green Beans Pumpkin and Apple Pie with Whipped Cream Dementia Friends Workshop Thursdays 11/21 from 2:30pm-3:30pm We’re partnering with Olympic Area Agency on Aging to provide this" “Dementia Friends Washington” workshop on Thursday 11/21 from 2:30pm-3:30pm. The Recovery Café will receive all the proceeds from the November & December dances, with a $500 match from hosts Doug+Barbara+Cheri+Rocky. December will be recorded music, and a pot luck of holiday goodies and cheer. All are welcome to this special fundraising event, 6:30-8:30p.m. Quimper Grange is at 1219 Corona St, PT. Entry is by donation; all proceeds go to support Recovery Cafe. <https://mcusercontent.com/878120a4a1fd6bb8179418fd1/images/80edb17e-565e-01aa-85ee-855d49d79497.jpg> Dove House Closet Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-2pm Drop in at Mountain View Commons to shop for FREE clothes and accessories. <https://mcusercontent.com/878120a4a1fd6bb8179418fd1/images/b56dd647-20f0-e6d3-ffbd-57290c0d9368.png> Recovery Café groups and offerings Recovery Circles – Members make a commitment to attending a weekly one-hour Recovery Circle. These are confidential, peer-based recovery support groups led by a trained facilitator where we process our recent recovery successes and challenges. This is where we foster deep connections and growth. Yoga (Mondays at 12pm-1pm) - Alternates between Gentle Yoga and Hatha Yoga for any level of experience. We provide all yoga equipment. Wear comfortable clothing. Philosophy Cafe (Tuesdays alternating weekly between 10am-11am and 11:30am-12:30pm) - An open-ended, drop-in philosophical discussion group. Song Circle (First & Third Wednesdays at 2pm-3:30pm) - Meets on patio. For your turn, you may pass, request a song, or start a song. Songs with a chorus are encouraged so people can sing along. Soul’s Journey (Wednesdays at 4-5pm) - This is a drop-in spirituality discussion group, new topics weekly. Sewing 101 (Second Thursday 2pm-4pm) - Come learn and create a new sewing project every month. All materials provided. No registration required. Open Mic (Second Friday 6pm-8pm) - Come share your gifts and talents, whether music, poetry, storytelling, or anything else. Sign up for a 10-minute spot. We provide food and a good time. Seeking Wellness (Fridays 11:30am-1pm) - This is a weekly trauma discussion group. Some weeks, video & discussion; other weeks, a topic is selected for discussion. Space limited, please register with staff. Free Haircuts (First Fridays 2:30pm-4pm) - Free haircuts and beard trimming from a professional hairdresser! Must wash your hair same day. Free YMCA shower tokens/soap available from staff. Other Groups Hosted at Recovery Café Psychedelics in Recovery (Tuesdays 5pm-6pm) - A weekly, one-hour meeting for people who are interested in using the 12-steps along with psychedelic medicines to grow in their journey of recovery. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (First & Third Wednesdays 7pm-8:30pm) - Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. NAMI Peer Connection is for people with mental health conditions. Wellbriety (Saturdays 12pm-1:30pm) - A recovery support group integrating Native American and 12-step traditions for people in recovery from anything. Everyone welcome, Native and non-Native alike. We updated our calendar! Blue events are drop-in events.
