Subject: Hood Canal Shoreline
Planning Commissioners, Jefferson County
Please assist the Citizens of Jefferson County, Kitsap County, and Mason County in
preserving the integrity of the Hood Canal and its shoreline. Today we are spending
huge amounts to "clean up" years of problems in the Hood Canal, from under oxygenation
to failing septic tanks. This unusually beautiful part of this planet should be preserved for
our children and theirs. Make sure all shoreline use keeps the beauty and cleanliness
intact. Make sure the bridge stays intact and is not subject to an accident by a gravel barge
passing under it. Please make your names a part of the list of people who want to "do
right" in this need.
