Dear Jefferson County Planning members:
As a caring neighbor of Jefferson County and all who share the riches of Hood Canal, I urge you to heed the
1970s statement of Mason County in your process of updating the Shoreline Master Plan:
"Intensive land uses or developments within the shoreline of Hood Canal, a shoreline of state-wide
significance, should be discouraged or prohibited."
