Subject: Shoreline Master Plan
Jefferson County Planning Commissioners:
I strongly support the Hood Canal Coalition's concern with the current preliminary draft Shoreline
Master Plan. Please consider amending the draft to prohibit mining activities on the shoreline of Hood
Canal. This action will preclude any future attempt to damage the Canal as we have witnessed in the
recent past.
