Subject: Master Plan for Jefferson County Shoreline
Dear Planning Decision Makers,
To allow mining and related activities or equipment on the shorelines of the Hood Canal is to
destroy the environmental integrity that so many of us are working to maintain and in fact
improve. Repeatedly the residents, and scientific advisors have advocated investments in this
area treasure, to preserve and enhance it, and hence the financial rewards presented by
tourism.
Plea$e ensure that this treasure remains that, with a shoreline master plan for Jefferson
County, that supports it, not degrades it.
