Jefferson County Planning Commission:
Please amend the current Prelim Draft Shoreline Master Plan to prohibit mining activities on the shorelines of
Hood Canal. It is well known that Hood Canal currently does not completely "flush" itself by tidal action etc. There
are other altematives and other locations available.
