Please amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master plan to prohibit m~n~ng
activities on the shoreline of Hood Canal and any other shoreline of state~wide
significance within the county's jurisdiction. Hood Canal is a pristine waterway, and
lets keep it that way!!! The money that the county would gain from taxes would not
compare with the irreversible damage that mining and other industrialization would do to
this gift of nature, lost forever, money
