Subject: Hood Canal preservation
I'm concerned about the preservation and protection of the Hood Canal, and ask that the
Jefferson County Planning Commission amend the preliminary draft shoreline master plan to
prohibit mining activities on the shoreline of Hood Canal, and other areas of significance.
These are gifts of nature that should not be marred or destroyed by industrialization.
